Description:
Punk and it's associated music and fashion has always intrigued me and I love the fact that it is still very much alive today.
As a youngster I remember the local Punks wearing tartan bondage trousers with bright red braces and fantastic Doctor Martin Boots. They had amazing haircuts and multiple piercings and really stood out in the crowd.
Although I did not know anything about the concept as a youngster they truly made an impression on me and this piece is intended to reflect this.
“Punk: a style or movement characterized by the adoption of aggressively unconventional and often bizarre or shocking clothing, hairstyles, makeup, etc., and the defiance of social norms of behaviour, usually associated with punk rock musicians and fans”
