Description:

Star Wars was one of the greatest kids films ever made in my opinion and when I was old enough to understand, I found out that many adults had liked it too.  Like most kids I had some of the original toys and many years later I managed to purchase some more (just because I could).  My Father enjoyed and clearly remembers watching Star Wars at the movies, I loved it and now my young son is also enjoying it.  So that is three generations of my immediate family who have been smitten with the concept.

When companies hit upon a successful idea they seem to stay forever, systematically being refashioned.  This can be seen in many children's games, comics, cartoons and even television programmes.  Ideas that were popular when I was a child can be seen in a modernized style today and can probably be traced back to more rudimentary forms before I was born.

I have chosen to merge these old comics and annuals with the some of the fresher and cleaner    graphic novels of today to produce a collage of history that can be enjoyed by both parent and child.

Technology will constantly change to suit the needs of the masses but that is no reason to forget the simpler processes used in previous times and perhaps, one day, we may go full circle as it becomes harder to invent new ways of producing media.
